The CRANBOURN® product design and manufacturing ethos is influenced by our British heritage. All CRANBOURN® products and packaging are of the highest quality, designed and manufactured exclusively in the UK from sustainable FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) sources. We never compromise on quality.

CRANBOURN®’s design process focuses on the entire product experience. From the outset, the CRANBOURN® vision has been to design and create fragrance products of exceptional quality using the finest botanicals and essential oils.

Our perfumes are invariably sophisticated and complex, but we ensure that the containers and packaging of other parts of our products remain reassuringly simple.

The carefully designed sustainable FSC packaging in which your CRANBOURN® product is delivered has been thoughtfully crafted and detailed, so that you receive it in perfect condition without costing the earth.

Keeping our packaging simple is essential, so our resources can instead be used to craft superior fragrance products.

Better for the planet

Simple details, such as maximising the engineering tolerances of our FSC board packaging and using as few parts as possible, mean we minimise wasteful packaging content. Not only is this better for our planet, but it allows us to focus more on creating products of higher quality.

The founders of CRANBOURN® worked for decades in the design and luxury goods sector. They gained a strong appreciation of form and function– and how scent, good design and architecture can improve people’s everyday lives and wellbeing.

This can be in simple everyday products: the products you use, the car you drive, or the buildings you live and work in. In all these and more, thoughtful design and high quality improve life.

The truth about good design

The founders of CRANBOURN® have had the good fortune to work with some of the world’s most talented and well-known international perfumers, product designers and architects.

The sad but honest truth is: plenty of luxury brands cut corners regarding good design and quality. Many luxury products ignore environmental concerns– and often, products purporting to be both sustainable and luxury are, in reality, neither.

Less consumption, more quality

We should all use less but better quality products in our everyday lives, for the benefit of our wellbeing and the environment.

A well-designed and manufactured product uses no more resources than a poor one– often, it uses fewer resources but of higher quality. A poorly-designed product that does not satisfy our needs usually ends up not fully used, first on a shelf and then in a landfill.

Better quality without cutting corners

We share the principles of John Ruskin, a 19th-century English poet and fervent art critic, as we strive to manufacture exceptional products.
